University of St. Joseph Mbarara Holds 3rd Graduation Ceremony: A Celebration of Academic Excellence and Community Support.

The University of Saint Joseph Mbarara hosted its much-anticipated third graduation ceremony, Saturday, February 17th, 2024, marking yet another milestone in the institution’s journey of academic excellence. The event, graced by esteemed guests and dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Henry Musasizi, the State Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, was a celebration of achievement, perseverance, and community spirit.
The ceremony commenced with warm welcome remarks, setting the tone for a day filled with camaraderie and celebration. Attendees were immersed in a solemn Mass, offering gratitude for the accomplishments of the graduating class, the unwavering support of parents, and the blessings bestowed upon the university community.

 

 

 

 

A highlight of the event was the formal inauguration of the university’s “pillars” – a select group of individuals recognized for their exceptional contributions to the growth and development of the University of St. Joseph Mbarara. These pillars, representing diverse backgrounds and expertise, symbolize the collaborative spirit and shared vision of the university community.
The presence of Henry Musasizi, the State Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, as the Chief Guest, added prestige to the occasion. In his address, Minister Musasizi commended the graduates for their dedication and encouraged them to leverage their education for the betterment of society. He reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting education initiatives aimed at empowering the youth and driving national development.

The ceremony concluded with the conferral of degrees and diplomas upon the graduating class of 95 students, who braved the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic to achieve their academic aspirations. With pride and gratitude, graduates received their certificates and transcripts, marking the culmination of years of hard work and determination.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, Rev. Fr. Dr. Deus Karemire expressed profound appreciation for all those who contributed to the success of the graduation ceremony. He emphasized the university’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, community engagement, and holistic development.

 

As the sun set on a memorable day, the University of St. Joseph Mbarara looked ahead with optimism and enthusiasm, poised to continue its transformative journey of shaping minds, nurturing talents, and empowering communities.
