Last week, five young people began their journey in the second cohort of the Online Media Academy Program. These individuals will take part in a 2–month program of rigorous training and mentorship in the fields of video and audio production, graphics designing, and live events streaming.
The program, organized by Empower Youth in Technology (EYIT), seeks to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to become successful media professionals.
During the program, each participant will receive personalized instruction and guidance from experienced media professionals in their chosen fields. At the end of the program, the top performers will have the opportunity to practice with EYIT TV for two months, before transitioning into media practice.
“We’re excited to welcome our second cohort of the Online Media Academy Program,” said EYIT CEO, Tushabe Ronard. “Our goal is to provide these young people with the chance to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the media industry. We are confident that this program will help equip them with the necessary tools to pursue their dreams and become successful media professionals.”
