Professor Jacques Nkengurutse visits Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST)

Prof.  Jacques is on an exchange programme of the East African mobility under the Pharmbiotrac Project and Faculty of Science. His visit will allow him and MUST under the Pharmbiotrac project to;

  1. Design a project proposal that will be implemented in Uganda and Burundi.
  2. Draft a scientific paper for publication
  3. Work with Masters students at MUST to disseminate some pf the results from previous studies
  4. Train Masters students on scientific writing skills.

Jacques Nkengurutse is a Professor and Researcher on ​Conservation biology, Plant domestication,​Ecosystemic services​​, and ethnobotany in biology department, Faculty of Sciences at Burundi University. He is also a member of the National Commission for Sciences, Technology and Innovation.

He does research in conservation biology, plant domestication and volarization, indigenous plant species and ecosystem services.
