On Friday 12th May 2023, Empower Youth in Technology (EYIT) held its second session of online mentorship with John Henry as the facilitator. The session was part of the Coding 4 Business Program activities that are geared towards building the capacity of Ugandan software developers to collaborate with US Tech companies.
John Henry discussed the three–step approach used by tech entrepreneurs in the US to develop technology startups that sell quickly. During his session, he presented two technology ideas that the software developers participating in EYIT’s Coding 4 Business Program would work to develop.
These developers will be utilizing no/less code platforms such as UiZard and Bubble to develop these technology ideas. This program aims to help the participating software developers gain the necessary skills and knowledge to develop their own technology ideas. John Henry’s presentation was greatly appreciated by the participants of the Coding 4 Business Program.
His words of guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in inspiring them to pursue their dreams of becoming successful tech entrepreneurs. EYIT looks forward to the success of the program and hopes that it will help developers to make their mark in the technology industry.
